Join us this fall at Wasilla Public Library for an 8-week intensive poetry & art class for seniors. Taught by teaching artists Linda Reger and Jeanne Troshynski, in the class participants will write poetry and created watercolor art in response to those poems, culminating in an art showcase in November. All supplies and instruction are provided for free!

The Creative Connnections Class is a joint project of the Mat-Su Council on Aging, the Mat-Su Health Foundation, the Wasila Public Library, and the Friends of the Wasilla Public Library

Join us on Tuesday, September 15th at 5:30 pm in the Wasilla Public Library's Multi-Purpose Room for a presentation with Lisa Roderick, author of A Place Among Giants: 22 Seasons at Denali Basecamp. Copies of her book are available for check out at Wasilla Public Library.
