If you would like to become a Friend, there is a $10.00 annual membership charge. To become a member you can stop by the library and pick up a registration form or click here to download a form, fill it out and mail it in with your check. If you'd like to speak with someone prior to joining the Friends, or if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please email the Membership Committee at membershipcommittee@wasillafriends.org. The Friends group has donated monies for summer reading programs for all ages, the December "Santa" program, to bring in Heather Lende for a book talk, and over $1,000 for the Wasilla Public Library to purchase new books during the recent book budget freeze. Additionally, the Friends are involved with making a new library building happen in Wasilla. The Friends hold fundraisers throughout the year to help support these programs and many other programs every year. |
